US 131 Motorsports along with Randy Piechocki of RP Grafix will be hosting the 4^th annual ladies race this Saturday October 10th.   This year’s race will be in the remembrance of Kathy Huizinga who was involved in a fatal auto accident one year ago.   Kathy was very instrumental in the current Engine Pro engine giveaway that has taken place the past two years for our Lane Automotive Bracket Racing series racers.

This race is open to any lady racers driving daily driver vehicles running 14.00 seconds and slower on the ¼ mile.   No race cars are allowed.   Vehicles must run DOT tires and be totally street legal.   Cost to enter the race is just $20.   Current sponsors for the event include: RP Grafix, Performance Engineering, Engine Pro, E&D Performance, Cronen Signs, Muffler Man of Kalamazoo, Port Sheldon Auto and Street & Strip Performance.   Gates open at 11:30am, time trials for the test and tune start at 12 noon.   Racing is estimated to start at 3pm.   The day is open to all to test and tune on the racing surface for a cost of $20 with crew and spectators cost being $12.   Track time is scheduled from 12 noon to 6pm.
