With cool evening air temperatures fans can expect to see 300 miles per hour Nitro Funny Cars race down “The Fastest Track in Michigan”.  With a stellar field of cars that include Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Cars, front engine Top Fuel Dragsters, Supercharged Thunder cars, wheelstanding Gassers and the ever popular Jet Semi this race is one not to be missed.

Top Nitro Funny Cars producing over 7,000 horsepower each are those of current IHRA World Champion Terry Haddock of Woodinville, Wash., two-time IHRA Nitro Funny Car World Champion Dale Creasy, Jr. of Lansing, Ill., and touring professional Jack Wyatt of Corydon, Iowa. 

The final race in the Lane Automotive / Edelbrock Bracket Racing Series will also be contested.  Track champions will be determined in five classes, including the Jr. Dragster divisions where racers ages 8-17 compete.  The much anticipated season-long Engine Pro / DART Machinery engine giveaway, assembled completely by Performance Engineering of Jenison, will also be awarded during this race.  This engine valued at nearly $20,000 will be awarded to one of the twenty qualified competitors, top 10 in points in both the Modified and Top ET classes.  For a complete list of those fortunate racers and sponsors who made this engine available please visit www.us131msp.com.
