The National City Thunder Nationals roars onto the track on Saturday, May 9. This race brings fans back to the track after a long cold Michigan winter featuring Pro Mods, Alcohol Funny Cars, and Alcohol Dragsters. Also not to be missed are the Supercharged Thunder nostalgia blown cars, which put on quite a show.
Followed on May 30, the SPEED Channel’s wildly successful PINKS ALL OUT qualifying race is slated. There are 40 spots left, which are open to eligible racers. If you missed your chance to get registered, here’s your second chance.
This is in preparation for PINKS ALL OUT scheduled to hit the track July 10-11. With over 2.5 million SPEED TV viewers per week, Rich Christensen and crew will make their only Michigan appearance this year at US 131 Motorsports Park. The winner will receive a $10,000 purse and a NAPA tool chest filled with $8,000 of tools. Be here as the televised negotiations are heated and the races are real.
The ADRL Drags V will be returning June 5-6 for fast and furious pro modified racing on the 1/8 mile. Five pro classes are featured and the rules of winning are simple: first to the finish line is the winner.

Back by popular demand will be the Xtreme Machine, the world’s fastest full-sized Freightliner semi who literally rockets down the track. This family-friendly event will leave you breathless!
Take a trip down memory lane on June 26-27 with the Muscle Car Drags. This race highlights 100% stock cars from the 60’s and modifieds where internal modifications are not restricted. Not your father’s Chevy!
On July 23-26, Davidson Express Motorcycles Chopper Fest 3 features the top 10 Michigan builders in a Chopper build off for the title of Top Chopper Builder in Michigan.
See and experience a mini-Sturgis right here in Michigan with the ever-popular Nitro Top fuel bikes. No one under 18 will be admitted except on Sunday.
300+ MPH Top Fuel, Pro Mods, Alcohol Funny Cars, and Pro Stocks make their only appearance in Michigan during the 28th Annual IHRA Northern Nationals slated for July 31 and August 1-2. This is ¼ mile racing competition at its best, driven by some of the sport’s best-known racers. US 131 Motorsports is the only track in the upper mid-west to run Top Fuel dragsters the full ¼ mile.

Feel and see speeds of 300+MPH on the quarter-mile. Both Nitro Funny Cars and Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars will give a show you won’t want to miss.
No show is complete at US 131 without a jet car blazing down the track to finish the night.
AMSNOW Snowmobile Mania is September 26-27. Over 200 snowmobiles are set to compete and Yamaha will be on site to debut their latest machines for you to test drive.
US 131 Motorsports Park is located between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids at Exit 55 (Martin) on US 131. Exit west and take the first left onto 12th Street. The track is about one mile down 12th Street on the left. |
