Wild Wednesdays
Spectators only $5 and just $15to race!  Participants will not want to miss these fun filled nights!  The US 131 Motorsports Park staff will be available to assist anyone interested in learning more about drag racing and bracket racing.  We will run open time runs for the first part of the event.  Drivers will then be able to place a dial-in on their car and run just as if they were running in an actual bracket race.  All just for fun to see who can take the win light!
 
FRIDAYS
Friday nights will feature an array of activities throughout the 2008 season. Each Friday night will include an open test and tune for any and all vehicles, novice or seasoned racer.

Gates open at 5pm, racing from 6pm to 10pm.
Admission is $12 and just an additional $8 to run your vehicle.
Children ages 6-12 are $5 and children under 5 are FREE.

Friday nights are fun 'n grudge nights! Each Friday is open to anyone to make unlimited time runs, race against one another or just hang out with friends. Entry Fee for racers is $20.00.

Midnight Madness

US 131 Motorsports Park will continue this popular "street scene" competition. Including burnout contests, How to Race brochures, US 131 Motorsports Park staff on hand to explain terms, procedures and rules. All clubs welcome. Discounted admission rates start at 9pm until 1am. Entry fee only $5.00 per person and only $15.00 to race.
General Rules for MM

Off the wall, heads-up, first one to the finish line, grudge racing just for fun. This class is designed for our younger generation to take racing off the streets and onto the track in a safe controlled environment where racers can battle it out against their friends or foes'. This will be a heads-up race with a pro tree, (NO HEAD STARTS). All street vehicles welcome.   ALL IHRA rules apply.

Lane Automotive Bracket Racing Series
Saturday points races are filled with tough competition for the much desired title of Track Champion. Each race features the Summit Super Series in VP Racing Fuels Top ET, Modified and Street. Additionally, most points races includes Jr. dragsters where racers ages 8-17 compete in two classes, Advanced Jr. Dragster and the Beginner Jr. Dragster class.
 
Points System:

 

3 pts for first round stage

10 pts for each round won

5 pts runner-up finish

10 pts winner finish

 
General IHRA / Track Rules

CREDENTIALS - Each participant must have a driver's license, (license to drive on the street).   All racers 9.99 1/4 mile, (6.49 and quicker 1/8 mile), must have approved competition license. Helmet required on all drivers running 13.99 or quicker 1/4 mile, (8.59 1/8 mile or quicker). Helmet must be SN 95 or newer. Check "General Regulations- ALL CLASSES" in your IHRA 2007 RULE BOOK for required safety equipment.

 

HIGH SCHOOL CLASS - All cars must be street legal. No tube chassis or electronics. Tires must be DOT approved and exhaust must run through the mufflers. Driver must have a current driver's license, (licensed to drive on the street). This class will bracket at 12.00 and slower 1/4 mile times, (7.80 and slower 1/8 mile times).

JR DRAGSTER (BEGINNER) - Age 8 TO 12 ONLY. ET restriction 12.90 1/8 mile for ages 8-9, 8.90 ET 1/8 mile for ages 10-12. Break out rules apply. Refer to 2007 IHRA RULE BOOK for complete Jr Beginner rules and safety information.   

JR DRAGSTER (ADVANCED) - Ages 10 to 17. Modified engines meeting IHRA rules accepted. ET restricted to 8.90 and slower for ages 12 to 17, 7.90 ET 1/8 mile for ages 12-17 must have Master competition license.  Break out rules apply. Refer to the 2007 IHRA RULE BOOK for complete Jr Advanced rules and safety information.

 

 

*GENERAL RIDER REQUIREMENTS - SFI 40.1 or 40.1-2 suit or jacket or leathers mandatory for all riders. All riders who run 10.99 1/4 mile or 6.99 1/8 mile or quicker or run 120 mph or faster must wear a 40.1/2 suit or leathers. Two piece suits must be joined at the waist by a zipper. Leather boots/shoes extending above the ankle mandatory. Helmet : SN 90 or newer, K 98, 2000 or SFI 31.2A or 31.2A mandatory. All competitors running 9.99 or quicker 1/4 mile, or 6.40 or quicker 1/8 mile must have valid IHRA Competition License. Refer to 2007 IHRA RULE BOOK for complete rules and safety information.

 

STREET CLASS - All cars must have DOT approved tires, any width ok. Exhaust must run through mufflers. Drivers must have current driver's license, (licensed to drive in the street) this class will bracket at 12.00 and slower in the 1/4 mile, (1/8 mile 7.50 and slower). No electronics, Trans brakes, or throttle stops allowed.  This class is meant for a street driven car.

 

MODIFIED ET - Tube Chassis cars allowed, any size DOT or Drag slick allowed.   Delay boxes and air throttles prohibited. Trans brake buttons, Trans brakes, two steps and pneumatic or electric shifters permitted. This class will bracket out from 0-13.99 in the 1/4 mile, (0-9.99 in the 1/8 Mile).

 

TOP ELIMINATOR - Delay boxes, trans brakes, two steps and play back tachometers allowed. Air throttles, used as launch control devices, are allowed. Factory OEM installed computers will be permitted, but no lap top computers will be allowed while in competition. Open to dragsters, altered and chassis type race cars.   This class will bracket out from 0-11.99 in the 1/4 mile, (0-7.99 in the 1/8 mile).
