He drives an Oakley Dodge Stratus which is a type of the funny car, and he has been drag racing since he was a teenager. He has won six NHRA drag racing events victories; three in funny car and three in Alcohol Dragster. In 2001, Gary switched to a higher class of the funny car. He finished the 2004 session by coming third in another series of the funny car. Top fuel eliminator is the fastest car but personal choice is what matters.
